Time back to the evening of June 26, 2014, the first train loaded with 50 containers of "Hefei-made" home appliances, started from Hefei, along the Ningxi-Longhai-Lanxin line all the way to the west, through Xi'an, Urumqi, outbound via Alashankou, and finally It reaches the Central Asian destination of Almaty, Kazakhstan, covering a total distance of 4954 km. This is the first train issued by the "HeXinOu" international freight train, which is also the first railway international freight train in the history of our province.

On June 26, 2015, the Hefei international cargo train was extended to Hamburg, Germany for the first time. After departing from Hefei, this train left Alashankou port in Xinjiang and travelled westward all the way through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Poland, finally arriving at Hamburg, Germany, with a journey of 10,600 kilometres and taking 15 days.

On December 12, 2016, breaking the "one-way train" pattern, Anhui Province ushered in the China-European Liner (Hamburg-Hefei) return train for the first time. The train, loaded with wine, sweeping robots and other goods, was sent from Hamburg, Germany, across Europe and Asia, via Poland, Belarus and Russia, and took 23 days to arrive at Hefei North Station Logistics Base. Hefei citizens can buy cheap and high quality "made in Europe" at their doorstep.
