Since 2014, after ten years of rapid development, Hefei has accumulated more than 4,000 columns of China-European Union liner, reaching 18 countries and 144 international stations, and constructed a safe and smooth supply chain lifeline in the complex and changing world. This new Silk Road carrying the steel camel keeps expanding, connecting Hefei and the world tightly together. In recent years, Hefei International Dry Port continues to develop and innovate, and has successfully declared two national brands - the first dry port-type national logistics hub in the Yangtze River Delta region and the national multimodal intermodal transportation demonstration project, which opens up a new channel of opening up to the outside world of Hefei and even Anhui Province, as well as a new bridge for economic and trade cooperation.


In 2023, Hefei China-European liner train operated 868 trains, with a year-on-year growth of 13.02%. Various high-quality operation indexes showed a steady upward trend, and the full-load rate of the return trip always maintained 100%, with a cumulative cargo value of USD 1.303 billion and a cargo weight of 535,600 tons for the whole year. The heavy container rate and full load rate were in the forefront in the Yangtze River Delta region. More than 400 customized shuttle trains for enterprises such as "JAC", "Chery", "Midea", "Meiling", etc. were operated, up 26.65% year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2024, a total of 306 China-Europe liner trains were operated, and the number of containers shipped on the outbound liner trains increased by 16.04% year-on-year, with the overall development of the liner trains being stable and improving, and the overall development of the liner trains tending to be better.


The first phase of Hefei International Dry Port Project has been successfully completed and put into operation, and the construction of the second phase of the project is in full swing. The second phase of the dry port project covers an area of about 289 acres, and plans to build a double-story bonded warehouse with automobile ramp, bonded cold chain warehouse, single-story supervisory warehouse, single-story automated logistics warehouse, etc., with a total floor area of about 120,000 square meters, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. After the completion of the project, it is expected to form an efficient support for the collection and distribution of Hefei's China-EU liner, promote the high-quality development of Hefei's China-EU liner, help expand the high level of opening to the outside world, and create a good urban environment for the development of the new quality of productivity. Hefei International Dry Port will continue to promote Hefei to the surrounding major node cities and "Belt and Road" along the cities of the "one main and three vice" multimodal transport corridor lines to improve, promote Hefei and the surrounding provinces and cities of the east, west, south, north and south of the mutual aid synergistic, and to promote the water-rail, rail, and other multimodal transport Highly efficient development.

As a bi-regional node city of the "Belt and Road" and Yangtze River Economic Belt strategies, and located at an important node connecting the Yangtze River Delta with the central and western regions, Hefei plays the role of a strategic logistics hub in north-south exchanges and east-west advancement. Relying on the construction of Hefei China-European liner and Hefei big logistics system, deeply integrating into the national development strategy of Yangtze River Delta integration and the rise of central China, constructing Hefei dry port-type national logistics hub, promoting the smooth acceptance of the national multimodal intermodal transportation demonstration project, opening up the channel of linking the east with the west and going up to the north and expanding to the south, and continuing to provide the inland enterprises with a stable and high-quality international logistics channel guaranteeing to go to the world, and driving the effective integration of the international logistics industry chain, supply chain and innovation chain. This will lead to the effective integration of the international logistics industry chain, supply chain and innovation chain, and accelerate the formation of a new pattern of all-round, high-quality and high-level opening up.

The blueprint will be drawn and the drums will be beaten, and a new journey will be started with the east wind. Hefei International Land Port will continue to study and fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the 20th Plenum of the CPC, and closely focus on the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Anhui Province, so as to gather the power of advancement and motivate him to take up the role.

We will vigorously develop multimodal transportation, optimize the logistics chain, improve the transportation efficiency, further increase the operating density of Hefei China-EU liner, broaden its radius, deepen the cooperation with bonded parks and inland ports, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly promote the construction of large channels, platforms and customs clearance. We will unswervingly push forward high-quality development, endeavor to become an important window and hub for opening up the inland area, and make new and greater contributions to promoting China's foreign trade and regional economic development.
