Novel Route for China Railway Express between Hefei and Helsinki

At 9 p.m. November 8th, the first train of China Railway Express heading for Wu Surrey Port, Helsinki, Finland loaded with 52 containers was dispatched from the logistics base of Hefeibei (North) Railway Station of China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd.. And this is the second national pioneer route and the third route trial developed by Hefei International Land Port Development Co.,ltd. after Hefei-Alma-Ata point-to-point block train.

The cargoes of the train whose value is over 1.94 million US dollars and whose weight is approximately 255 tons are mainly mould for vulcanized tires, bearings, controllers, press brake tools，etc. The total freight time will be around 20 days which is as half as the time used on sea transportation.

We plan to dispatch 2 block trains from Hefei to Helsinki every month at earlier stage and one block train going and back in each week at later stage.At the same time, it has opened a logistics channel for high-quality products from northern Europe to enter the Chinese market quickly, and implemented the spirit of general secretary xi jinping's speech at the China international import expo which is that we will open up, integrate and expand space for mutually beneficial cooperation, create a world-class business environment, tap the potential of imports, and achieve a basic balance between imports and exports.

For now, Hefei China Railway Express has dispatched 151 block trains ,13590 TEU. Over 170 block trains will depart at the end of this year which will exceed the number of Hefei China Railway Express from 2014 to 2017 in total.
