The fragrant "Silk Road" Huangshan Tea Special Train departs for Central Asia

On the evening of August 27th, a Central Asian train with tea fragrance set off from Hefei North Station and is expected to arrive in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, 15 days later. The total length of the trip is about 5,590 kilometers, which indicates that after nearly three months of running-in experiments, Anhui's first tea special train was successfully launched. This train mainly carries 82TEU of Chinese green tea from Huangshan Mountain, which weighs over 800 tons and has a value of over US$ 1.18 million.

Take the steel camel team and open up an exclusive export channel. A famous mountain in the world is bound to produce Lingcao. Huangshan City is the key tea producing area in China and the main tea producing area in Anhui Province, with tea output accounting for one third of the province and export volume accounting for 14% of the country. However, due to the lack of a stable external channel, the development of foreign trade is limited. The opening of this tea train has opened up a brand-new land logistics channel for Huangshan tea export, further promoted the export and transformation and upgrading of tea industry, and accelerated the integration of Wanli Tea Ceremony into the belt and road initiative.

Logistics, all industries are prosperous. Hefei Banlie "Silk Road on Land" and Huangshan Green Tea, as well-known brands of Anhui Province's opening to the outside world, have joined forces to form a beautiful business card for building an inland open highland. It is reported that the opening of the tea train is an important cooperation between Hefei Production and Investment Group and Huangshan Trading Group, which is operated by Hefei land port and Huangshan Juchuang Logistics Company, subsidiaries of both parties. In the early stage of cooperation, both parties visited the enterprises for many times to gain a deep understanding of Huangshan market, and jointly issued a multimodal transport scheme for local enterprises to help solve the problems such as difficult international logistics and transportation and tight transportation capacity of local enterprises. Juchuang Logistics is responsible for transporting the empty boxes provided by Hefei land port to the enterprise to complete the packing, and transporting them from Huangshan Public Rail Link to Hefei North to complete the connection and transportation of international railway intermodal transport; Hefei, land port, with the help of the China-Europe train from Hefei North to Tashkent, transports the goods to Tashkent, the site designated by Uzbekistan customers, for delivery.

The opening of Huangshan Tea Special Train has further promoted the cooperation between Hefei China-Europe Train and cities. It is an important part of the construction of Hefei China-Europe Train Assembly Center and the demonstration project of multimodal transport. It is a vivid deduction from "point-to-point" to "hub-to-hub", adding a bright new green to Hefei China-Europe Train International Logistics Channel.
