Following the first China-Europe block train dispatched on January 6 this year, the first block train “Enterprise” to Central Asia arranged exclusively for JAC by Hefei International Landport Development Co., Ltd (HILD) left Hefei with a long whistle on the morning of January 14, 2018 at 9:08. The freight train, carrying a full load of SUV components for JAC Refine model and with the mission to promote Hefei along the Belt and Road, will pass through Alashankou (Alataw Pass) to Kustana, the destination of the train “Enterprise” in Kazakhstan.
In the initial period of the operation, the Hefei China-Europe block train outbound to Central Asia was not well arranged and the service not regular. The block train “Enterprise” running out of Hefei was the first freight train to Central Asia successfully arranged by HILD that had finished freight preparation in just one month.
In the next step, HILD will continue its cooperation with local enterprises and strive to make the service once a week. In addition, it will also provide “hitchhike” service for enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta while satisfying the demand of the local export-oriented enterprises in the region around Hefei.
China has made great achievements in cooperation with Central Asian countries in various fields in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and it is believed that a stable and scheduled operation of the Hefei China-Europe block train to Central Asia will be strongly beneficial to the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, and give full play to HILD in the industrial upgrading and economic development of Hefei.
