Anhui goods sail to Southeast Asia China-Laos Railway (Hefei-Vientiane) international freight train starts.

At 3: 30 p.m. on December 30th, a "China-Laos Railway (Hefei-Vientiane) International Freight Train" loaded with local Anhui goods whistled from Hefei North Railway Station, leaving the country through Mohan Port in Yunnan, and finally reaching Vientiane, Laos. This is the first international freight train in Anhui after the China-Laos railway runs through, and it is also a fast channel for Anhui goods to be exported to Southeast Asia.

This train carries a total of 70 TEUs. The main goods on the train are Jianghuai freight cars, compressed domestic refrigerators, cabinet freezers, refrigerating-freezing combination machines, washing machines and washing machine accessories. These local vehicles and white goods will enter Vientiane, Laos more conveniently and efficiently along the newly-built "China-Laos Railway" on the international freight train. The total length of this trip is 3,405 kilometers, and it is estimated that it will take about 6 days to reach the destination. Compared with the sea route that has been going through Nanjing-Shanghai-Thailand for nearly half a month, the transportation time is greatly shortened, the competitiveness of products is further enhanced, and the Southeast Asian market is strongly explored.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos, which is a beneficial attempt of Hefei land port to add new logistics channels to ASEAN countries this year. Since the beginning of this year, Hefei land port has continuously strengthened its route expansion to the EU market, Central Asia, West Asia and Siberia, and basically achieved full coverage to Europe. The opening of this "China-Laos Railway (Hefei-Vientiane) International Freight Train" is a powerful measure for Hefei land port to seize the policy opportunity of RCEP Agreement, and it is also an important symbol that the operation network has extended to Southeast Asia for the first time.
