New rail freight started service linking Fuyang with Hamburg

On the evening of June 26, 2018, the 4th anniversary of the opening of Hexinou (Hefei-Xinjiang-Europe) rail route, a special cargo car loaded with wooden handicrafts departed from Anhui Huayu Crafts Co., Ltd, Funan County, to Hefei North Railway Station. One day later，these handicrafts with “Made in China” stickers will be delivered to Hamburg of Germany by the Hefei-Europe freight train, operated by Hefei International Land Port Development Co., Ltd.

This is the first attempt of Fuyang to implement the One Belt One Road Initiative and the first time for the Company to Fulfill the “Hefei+” strategy plan by CR Express(China-Europe Express) to support the economic and trade cooperation development of Anhui .

The enterprise packed the goods, cleared and inspected at Hefei North Railway Station, which are shipped to Hamburg directly by CR Express about 15-18 days, compared with sea transportation, it reduces the time of shipping by 50%, Moreover, this impressive time saving can enable companies to improve their acquisition and payment cycle time, and decrease the risk of getting into a foreign market.

Hefei International Land Port Development Co.,Ltd is now planning to link more cities and counties (Bengbu, Huainan, Liuan and Xuancheng are only a few examples) with huge potential to the Hexinou rail route, and it is expected to help Anhui better integrate with the Belt and Road Initiative to promote the development of local companies.
